Join Trip Leader Marty Bunge on a weekend trip to Mermet Springs in Southern Illinois. Mermet Springs features 8.5 acres of crystal-clear water, 100-deep underwater cliffs, sunken wrecks, schools of colored, pre-historic looking fish and the famous Boeing 727 airplane used in the movie “US Marshals!”


Where we are staying

The Baymont Inn is located in Metropolis, IL. You’ll enjoy a free continental breakfast, complimentary wifi and a heated indoor pool.
