Returns – Merchandise
The Diventures Return Policy allows you to return new, unused merchandise with a receipt on unused, in-package items within 30 days of the original purchase from Diventures.
- Discounted or used items are final sale and ineligible for return.
- Gift cards are ineligible for refunds.
Course Cancellations
Courses canceled less than 48 hours prior to the course start date are ineligible for a refund except for courses canceled due to medical circumstances. Sale items and opened digital materials are ineligible for return.
Scuba Course Makeups
Our Diventures Guarantee is that we are committed to your success! Know that we will work with you for as long as it takes for you to complete a course. Many customers are able to complete classes within the stated group parameters. However, should the need arise that you would like a makeup class to either stay on course with the group class or to make up material missed due to an absence, an additional session can be arranged for $100 per session. If multiple additional sessions are needed, then the group class and any makeup session(s) can be credited towards the private rate so that you and the instructor can proceed for however long as needed to comfortably complete the course.

Rentals
Rentals should be brought back on the due date or late fees will apply. Late fees are assessed as the daily rental fee per each piece of equipment per day that the equipment is late. Additionally, rentals should be cleaned prior to return. If additional cleaning is needed upon return, then $25 will be charged per piece needing further cleaning. In the event of any loss or damage, the renter is responsible for the full replacement value of the equipment.
Service
I agree that Diventures will not be held responsible for loss or damage to my equipment as a result of fire, theft, accident or any other cause beyond control. Any equipment left after 14 days of notice of completion of work will be subject to a storage fee of $10 a week. Any equipment left longer than 30 days after the date of completion will become the property of Diventures.
Swim Enrollment
New customers are enrolled to start swim lessons immediately and billed based on the number of lessons remaining that month, plus the new family registration fee. After that, enrollment will continue monthly.
When Splash Sessions are available (two weeks of consecutive daily lessons) enrollment is handled and billing upfront.
If a student takes a break longer than 12 months, a re-registration fee of $25 will apply.
Swim Diapers
Reusable swim diapers are required for students under the age of three and those not toilet trained.
Swim Missed Classes
If a student misses a class due to illness, we will credit the class with a doctor’s note or copy of a prescription. If your swimmer has a prolonged illness, please contact us. No makeup classes or credits for missed classes will be offered for reasons other than illness or pool closings. Two days of vacation credit are available to customers after three months of continuous monthly enrollment, which you may use when unable to attend class within the calendar year.
Travel Deposits and Payments
Every Diventures trip requires a non-refundable deposit and timely payments made. Reservations are not guaranteed until a deposit and all participants’ paperwork are completed. Failure to make any scheduled payment may result in a loss of reservation. Diventures reserves the right to revise payment schedule and/or prices associated with a reservation without prior notice for any reason, including unforeseen costs at the time of booking.
If the participant does not locate a roommate for this trip or Diventures does not assign one, the participant agrees to pay the single supplement price. Any changes to the participant’s reservation for any reason may result in fees with will be the participant’s sole responsibility.
Upon cancellation of the participant’s reservation for any reason, the refund of the deposit and payments made or due will be contingent upon Diventures reselling the participant’s reservation. Participants will be responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred by Diventures. Non-refundable costs include any such fees imposed by Diventures or any airline, tour company, dive operator or other contractor associated with the trip.
Travel Coverage and Equipment Service
Diventures requires all participants who will be participating in any diving activities during their trip to purchase dive medical insurance and strongly encourages all trip participants to purchase trip insurance.
Additionally, Diventures requires that all equipment, including but not limited to a regulator, BCD and dive computer have been or will be properly serviced within the prior twelve months preceding the trip’s departure date by a manufacturer-certified technician at a reputable and authorized service center.
