Interested in earning your scuba certification in Atlanta? Or want to sign up for swim lessons near you? The Dive Shop on Sandy Plains Rd has been serving Marietta residents in the north Atlanta metro for more than 25 years.
Our legacy started via Doug Sr. and Louise in Memphis and was carried on and elevated by Doug and Kathy McNeese. Diventures acquired The Dive Shop in 2022 and continues to provide divers with best-in-class training, gear, service, and travel, as well as launching a new swim program for 2024.
Our facility
Our facility in Marietta is an SSI dive center with a large retail space, scuba service center and training pool. Our swim teachers and dive instructors are dedicated to the safety of students in and out of the water. If you live in Sandy Plains, East Cobb, Westfield, Woodstock, Roswell, or other nearby areas, you can quickly access our scuba and swim center east of Town Center at Cobb from Piedmont Rd.

Scuba for kids

Kids swimming lessons
Our experienced and passionate teachers in Marietta are dedicated to teaching kids to swim in a fun and safe environment. We offer swim lessons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for kids of all ages and skill levels so everyone can become confident in the water. Classes are billed monthly.
Adult swimming lessons
Our adult swim lessons fit the needs of all swimmers. Whether you are just starting or want to improve your technique, we offer lessons for all skill levels designed to meet your goals. Classes starting now!
