Dive Insurance

Dive insurance is required on all Diventures trips. We recommend purchasing DAN dive insurance.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not required but is highly recommended for all Diventures trips. We recommend purchasing DAN trip insurance.

Electricity

There are no adapters required. If you’re visiting from the States, you won’t need to worry about an adapter for your cell phone or computer.   

Passport

Must be valid 6 months beyond the dates of your trip.

Bug Spray

Please be sure to bring it with you! Mosquitos are most active in the early morning hours and around sundown. 

Water

Tap water is not drinkable anywhere in Thailand. 

Dress Code

Dress modestly, especially when visiting temples.

Credit Cards

You are able to use your credit cards in most stores and restaurants.  

Money

1 Thai Baht equals 0.029 USD. So, 34 Thai Baht is about 1 USD. 

Temperature

The average temperature varies from 71°- 95°F.  Water temperatures range from 82°- 85°F throughout the year. 

Language

Thai is the main language spoken, but English is also widely used.
