Capt. Nemo’s Dive Shop is a certified SSI instruction facility dedicated to quality training and safe diving. Conveniently located off I-70 on Rangeline St, this Diventures location is great for customers in Columbia, Jefferson City, Fulton, Fayette, Centralia, Mexico, Boonville, and other nearby towns.Â

Learn to scuba dive in Columbia
Whether you are just getting started or want to refine your skills, our expert instructors are here for you.
Scuba certification with Diventures in Columbia starts at $450. This includes your Digital Learning materials and Classroom/Pool Sessions with our instructors. Students also need to purchase their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy & Reel for training.
We have local opportunities to complete your four (4) Open Water Training Dives during the summer season, starting at $200. Or you can choose to complete them in the ocean on a Certification Vacation.
Try Scuba class
Want to try diving and learn to breathe underwater? This introductory class is two hours of fun. You’ll start with orientation and then hop into the pool. We’ll provide all the equipment. All you need is a swimsuit.
Refresh your skills
Brush up those scuba skills and get ready for the open water! In this class, you’ll review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures. Recommended if you haven’t dove for 6 months or longer.Â

New facility coming soon!
Columbia Scuba fanatics and aquatic enthusiasts have something exciting to look forward to! Diventures plans to build a new facility with an 8,000+ square-foot state-of-the-art swim and scuba center, an indoor heated pool ranging in depth from 3.5 to 12 feet, a retail store, comfortable classrooms, a scuba service center and a travel center that offers phenomenal local and international scuba travel.
The new facility will also allow us to offer swim lessons for babies, toddlers, children, and adults. We can’t wait to bring our swim program to Central Missouri! Columbia’s new Diventures location will be a go-to for all aquatic enthusiasts.
