Join Trip Leader Chris Hill on a top-ten adventure. Bonne Terre is a flooded underground mine that allows for year-round diving. The temperature is a steady 60 degrees, with no thermoclines, and requires at least a 7mm wetsuit, hood and gloves. Dry suits are recommended. The visibility is excellent at over 100 ft. Sights include: mammoth architecture, ore carts, scaffolding, grating, staircases, pillars, slurry pipes, the famed elevator shaft, and much more. Bonne Terre Mine is without a doubt some of the most unusual diving in the region.
