Do you have a friend that has always wanted to scuba dive but doesn’t know if they’ll enjoy it? Or looking for an adventure for you and your significant other to enjoy together? Well, how about Try Scuba?
Try Scuba is an awesome gift because it doesn’t break the bank, it lets you experience breathing underwater for the first time, and it’s fun! It is a great idea for spicing up a date night or for a group of friends looking to do something out of the ordinary.
What To Expect
Not sure what to expect? Here’s a breakdown of the class:
The classes take place every Sunday for a few hours in the afternoon. During that time, you’ll have an in-class briefing about what to expect, then you’ll meet on deck to review the equipment basics.
Your instructor will help you get your gear on and ready to hop in the water. The class will start in the shallow end of the pool to get used to breathing and go over basic scuba hand signals.
After some time getting comfortable, you can move down to the deep end for free time to explore, play catch with water torpedoes, and swim through hoops. And of course, take a few “Insta worthy” photos. The class will conclude back in the classroom for chances to ask questions and learn about Open Water Diver certifications and all you can do with scuba diving.
I had an amazing time in the introduction course. The instructor was informative and patient in taking the students through each step. I loved the class! What a wonderful, relaxing time! The community is so lucky to have Diventures!
