Baby and Toddler

Small swimmers – big results

Our baby and toddler swim lessons are a fun and safe way for little ones to work on pool and water safety. Classes incorporate teacher interaction with songs and games. At the end of each class, parents are invited to review their student’s skills. Sessions are monthly, meeting once a week for 30 minutes. New students are asked to enroll initially for at least two consecutive months to ensure adequate learning time. We offer simple monthly auto payments.

Baby And Me

This class is for infants at least six months old to children up to the age of three, along with their parent or guardian. Swimmers will develop skills such as underwater breath control equal to a ten count, grabbing the wall and climbing out of the pool, back floating with their ears under the surface of the water, and moving forward through the water independently using arms and legs. There is a maximum of five swimmers per class.

Aquababy

This class is for two-year-olds who can swim three feet using arms and legs, ten count breath control, back float, and climb out independently. Swimmers will learn to swim underwater and perform independent rollover breaths. Parents encourage from the pool deck. There is a maximum of three swimmers per class.

Aquatike

This class is for three-year-olds who are building their water skills and swimming strength. Water Babies Level 1

Give your child the introduction to basic swim skills they need to stay safe. This swim class will help your child be more comfortable in the water. As importantly, they’ll begin to grasp some essential skills. Your child will learn several skills including two types of recovery skills that will help them enter the water safely or know what to do if they fall into the water unexpectedly. First, they’ll learn to float on their back to stay afloat. Second, they’ll be taught to move through the water toward safety both on their stomach and back. This class offers the essential lessons that will keep your child safe in the water while still having fun. Age levels: 5 to 18 months, or 18 months to 3 years.

Water Babies Level 2

Once your child has learned basic safety skills at Water Babies Level 1, the Level 2 class helps your little one to refine their recovery skills and keep progressing. Using some light support or a float belt, they’ll be having fun working on kicking and paddling, moving through the water in short distances – both on their back and front – and gaining more and more comfort in the water. You’ll see a noticeable boost in self-confidence, as your child moves at least three feet through the water with little or no support from the swim teacher (but always under their watchful eye). Age level: 18 months to 3 years.

Water Babies Level 3

At this final Water Babies level, your child will graduate by moving independently, using their arms and legs safely in the water. They will learn to jump in the water and recover to a wall, as well as float on their back. It’s a class that strengthens your child’s ability to move through the water even better than the previous Water Babies levels, giving them greater self-confidence and trust in their skills. They’ll graduate from the class with the ability to reach a target in the water that’s 3-5 feet away with arm and leg movement, and all without a float belt or support. Age level: 18 months to 3 years.

They are very caring, the facility is clean, it isn’t too homogeneous. The instruction is great and my daughter loves it. We have been going since she was 6 months old and now she is 3.
