Area Director

Although Chelsea has been diving since 2007, she has been involved in the scuba industry her entire life with her parents owning and operating SeaVentures for 31 years. After receiving her Business degree while playing collegiate volleyball, she explored her passion for working in bakeries. However, she found herself back at the family business pursuing her dive professional certifications and eventually worked her way through most of the swim, scuba, and marketing roles then into management. Since becoming a dive pro and running the Alpharetta location, she has traveled the world sharing her passion and excitement for the underwater world and visited amazing places like Bonaire where she even attended kids camp growing up each summer to Galapagos with the most advanced and incredible diving yet. She loves to teach and grow open water students into great divers and loves the opportunity to travel to new places making memories and sharing experiences with you!

Store Director

Steve Varney is the Store Director at Diventures – Madison. He is a gifted teacher, passionate scuba diver, and dog lover. Steve has over 35 years of experience coaching competitive swimming and swim lessons and loves working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. His passion for scuba diving began at an early age and was eventually certified in 2009 and he fell in love with the underwater world and eventually became a PADI Instructor.  In 2020 along with a partner, he helped open and manage a dive shop in Southeastern Minnesota. Be it in the water or under the water, Steve is the happiest  when he can introduce someone to all the joys and excitement the aquatic world has to offer!

Angie will be one of the enthusiastic team members welcoming you through the doors at Diventures! Angie has a passion for working with children. One of her favorite things to see is their individual personalities and their growth in and out of the water.

My love of swimming began at a very early age. One of my favorite memories is swimming the lake with my family around age 4. I love working with kids and helping them follow their dreams, whatever they may be. I have a background in making magic with Micky Mouse and friends at Walt Disney World.

While Toni wouldn’t consider herself an avid swimmer yet, she loves the pool and being in the water. She studied music and education in college and is excited to use some of those skills at Diventures!
