As parts of the world gradually re-open and divers are able to travel again, we wanted to keep you up to date on the latest travel options with Diventures for both international and domestic trips.
Diventures is here to ensure you can pursue your passion for diving, even during our current situation. The travel team has been working around the clock to maintain close and continuous contact with all our dive shops, tourism offices, and domestic and international government agencies so we can provide a safe traveling and diving experience for you and your family.
We are offering both international and domestic trips this year, along with new destinations for divers like you who want to get out and explore.
During 2020 and the beginning of this year, we have safely and successfully gone on 11 trips, including destinations such as St. Lucia, Cozumel, La Paz, Maldives, Hawaii, and more. Trips coming up this month and through spring, include Grand Turk, Bahamas, Cozumel, Key Largo, and much more! Upon returning, both Diventures team members and travelers have complimented on how great the dive shops and resort staff do their best to follow all CDC recommendations and guidelines.
Traveling doesn’t have to be stressful in the current situation we are in; we have everything covered. Every trip is planned and organized with our traveler’s safety as a top priority, with that in mind, our trips now include testing processes to re-enter the country. Travel insurance including COVID-19 coverage is now available to purchase from a variety of providers. All you have to do is enjoy your trip and let us take care of the rest!
We continue to work daily with government agencies to stay up-to-date with the latest travel restrictions and if anything changes, our travel team will notify you and work with you to make any new arrangements. Diventures also consults with Divers Alert Network (DAN) to make sure we are doing everything we can so you can mask up, and dive in! Doug Ebersole, a cardiologist consultant for DAN, recently traveled with Diventures and had this to say:
“My wife and I made our first trip with Diventures to St. Lucia in November 2020. We have been fortunate to travel literally all over the world, but we have never seen the level of service and attention to detail we saw with Diventures. Megan and JoAnn ran an incredible trip, especially given all of the travel issues with COVID-19. There was a pre-trip meeting in Omaha that was broadcast to the rest of us via Zoom explaining every detail of the upcoming trip, a welcome party upon arrival in St. Lucia, a farewell party the last evening, and all kinds of fun throughout the week. Megan and JoAnn were up and at breakfast before anyone else arrived and stayed up at the bar until everyone had gone to bed each evening. In between, they made sure every little detail was taken care of. And, of course, the diving was outstanding with comfortable boats and a top-notch crew and dive guides. As soon as we got home, we signed up for another Diventures trip!!! You can’t go wrong traveling with Diventures!
