Instructor Extended Range Foundations

Provides instructors with the training to be able to issue certifications in Extended Range Foundations based on the specific configuration(s) in which they hold instructor-level ratings.

Prerequisite and Ending Certification Level:

  • Open Water Instructor – will earn the Extended Range Foundations Instructor (Single Cylinder) rating
  • Extended Range Instructor – will earn the Extended Range Foundations Instructor (Twinset) rating
  • Recreational Sidemount Diving Specialty Instructor – will earn the Extended Range Foundations Instructor (Sidemount) rating

Does Not Include:

  • Travel or entrance fees
  • Gas prices (nitrox or trimix)
Instructor Extended Range

Provides instructors with the training to be certified as either an Extended Range Instructor or Extended Range Trimix Instructor. Upon completion, instructors will be able to certify students in Extended Range Nitrox Diving, and Extended Range (with or without trimix as per certification), using the equipment configurations for which they are qualifed.

Prerequisites:

  • Open Water Instructor certification
  • Deep Diving Instructor certification
  • Diver Stress & Rescue Instructor certification
  • Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor certification
  • Extended Range certification (or an equivalent from a recognized training agency)
  • Extended Range Trimix certification (or an equivalent from a recognized training agency)
    20 dives deeper than 100 feet
  • Have issued at least 3 enriched air nitrox 40 certifications

Does Not Include:

  • Travel or entrance fees
  • Gas prices (nitrox or trimix) are an additional fee
