Miss Mac and North Liberty Swim Teachers Putting Smiles on Student’s Faces Everyday

If you attend swim lessons at Diventures in North Liberty, IA then you have probably heard of Swim Teacher Mac Edwards, or as she’s known by her students, Miss Mac. Miss Mac has been teaching all ages at Diventures for over a year, and both parents and students rave about her abilities in and out of the water. 

Tonia Mauer, mother to student Lucy, is a big fan of Miss Mac and regularly tags Diventures in swim lesson videos with her daughter. Their family has been attending Diventures for three years and is excited to see the progress Lucy has made in those few years.  

“Miss Mac takes the time to be more than just a swimming lessons teacher,” said Tonia. “She makes a true connection with the kids, becoming someone they are comfortable with and trust. She makes swimming lessons so much fun. My daughter absolutely adores her.” 

With over 10 years of program and educational teaching experience under her belt, Miss Mac loves creating a unique and engaging class session that is tailored to each child every week. Her main goals for every session are to review and practice safety rules, build independence and confidence through exercises and get at least one smile or laugh from each student.
