Ready to start the summer fun? Diventures Scuba and Swim Centers is hosting a Summer Kick-Off Party and Open House on Saturday, May 12 from noon to 8 pm at the Omaha, Nebraska location.
“This is really our chance to thank our customers for their support. We’re bringing in reps from our top vendors, and this year we’re excited to add special guests from Omaha Zoo, Nebraska Game and Parks, and Backwoods. It’s a great blend of access to industry experts and family fun.” Says Greg Allen, Store Manager. “Plus, we’re hosting a party on the patio with great live music from The Bishops. We’re kicking off this long-awaited summer right.”
Admission is free to this event, and includes a full schedule of fun and informative activities, including:
- Pool activities – family fun for all ages, including a Snorkeling Mini-Class, underwater photo equipment demos, photo shoots with a Mermaid, water games, and more
- Seminars – kids learn about fish and crafts, and adults can explore innovations in diving adventures, underwater photography, coral conservation, and more
- Vendor booths – check out the latest gear, travel opportunities, Nebraska Games and Parks, Landlocked Scuba Club, Master Diving Challenge, and more
- Live music and BBQ – stay after 5 pm and enjoy live music from The Bishops and tasty dinner options for purchase from the 402 BBQ Food Truck
Nearly $2,700 worth of scuba gear will also be given away in a raffle. Everyone gets a free raffle ticket at the door, with opportunities to earn more tickets at the event, or through purchase – only $1 each, or six for $5. All proceeds go to Dive Pirates Foundation, dedicated to bringing scuba to those with mobility disabilities.
In addition, special one-day pricing and free deals will be available on scuba specialty classes Open Water Diver packages, and Total Dive Systems.
