Ready to start the summer fun? Diventures Scuba and Swim Centers is hosting a Summer Kick-Off Party and Open House on Saturday, May 5 from noon to 5 pm at the Springfield, Missouri location.
“Sure, it’s a great way to celebrate the beginning of summer, but we also want to show our appreciation to all our valued customers,” says Erin White, Manager. “And, for newcomers, it’s way to learn about scuba and swimming, see the facility, meet the staff, and chat with other adventure enthusiasts.”
Admission is free to this event, and includes a full schedule of fun and informative activities, including:
- Pool activities – family fun for all ages, including a Snorkeling Mini-Class, a Fish ID Challenge, water games, a photo shoot and more
- Seminars – kids learn about fish and crafts, and adults can explore diving adventures, underwater photography, the latest diving gear tech, and more
- Vendor booths – check out the latest gear, travel opportunities, scuba clubs, and diving venues from top companies and professionals
Nearly $2,700 worth of scuba gear will also be given away in a raffle. Everyone gets a free raffle ticket at the door, with opportunities to earn more tickets at the event, or through purchase – only $1 each, or six for $5. All proceeds go to Dive Pirates Foundation, dedicated to bringing scuba to those with mobility disabilities. Hot dogs, hamburgers and lemonade will also be served by the Dive Pirates team with a $5 suggested donation.
In addition, special one-day pricing and free deals will be available on scuba specialty classes, diving options at State Park Marina, and swim lessons.
