Your SSI Open Water Diver certification is awaiting. This lifetime certification is recognized around the world and opens the door for exploration.
Scuba certification with Diventures in Lincoln starts at $600. This includes your Digital Learning materials and Classroom & Pool Sessions with our instructors. Students also need to purchase their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy & Reel for training.Β
We have local opportunities to complete your four (4) Open Water Training Dives during the summer season, starting at $200. Or you can choose to complete them in the ocean on a Certification Vacation.
Try Scuba class
Want to try diving and learn to breathe underwater? This introductory class is a tank of fun for newbies. Youβll start with orientation and then hop into our pool. Weβll provide all the equipment. All you need is a swimsuit.
Refresh your skills
Brush up those scuba skills and get ready for the open water! In this class, you’ll review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures. Recommended if you haven’t dove for 6 months or longer.

My 10 yr old so wanted to learn how to scuba dive, so we signed him up with Jim at Diventures in Lincoln. Fast forward to last weekend when my now 12 year old son became a certified open water diver. Jim consistently went above and beyond, teaching my son everything he needed to know. Prepared him for the intensity of his first dive. And most importantly reassured my son when preparation met reality, the anxiety of actually doing what he had worked so hard for. Four dives later and my son is more confident than I have ever seen him before. He accomplished something so incredible and had Jim by his side the whole time. Jim also meticulously managed the anxiety of this Mama, reassuring me as the dives continued.
No other extracurricular gets you undivided attention, progressive confidence growth, and the opportunity to put skills to use; when your life depends on it. It also goes to prove when a parent can step back and let the coach/instructor do their job; so much progress will be made.
Jim, Rob, Dan (and others) have demonstrated their love of diving in many ways. They are incredibly knowledgeable and have the patience of saints. (I know nothing about scuba, but am learning quickly!)
