Diventures announces its tenth location

Geographic expansion and increased commitment to education with Diventures tenth location

OMAHA, Nebraska (November 15, 2021) – Omaha, Nebraska-based Diventures, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing network of swim and scuba centers, announced its most recent expansion, with the acquisition of AQUATREC, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

“We’re excited to announce the latest addition to the Diventures family,” said Dean Hollis, Diventures Founder. “I have known Jon and Marc since they acquired Husker Divers in 2012, so I was pleased when they called, wanting to be a part of the Diventures family. Adding the Lincoln market to the rapidly growing list of cities that Diventures serves is a logical geographic move. Additionally, given AQUATREC’s academic partnerships with the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Nebraska Wesleyan and Union College, this is also a highly strategic acquisition for Diventures. One of our core values is our commitment to the health of our oceans and waterways which we promote by creating awareness, providing education, and supporting local and global conservation efforts. This acquisition adds three more leading education and research institutions to our existing list of higher education institutions and growing list of K-12 schools. We hope to leverage these partnerships to increase Diventures impact in our education and conservation efforts.”

I am also pleased to announce that Dan Stalder will continue to serve as Store Manager and join the Diventures family of diving professionals. Dan has been with AQUATREC for ten years, so he brings a wealth of knowledge and excellent customer relationships, and we are excited to have him leading the Diventures team in Lincoln.”
