Diving veterans and scuba newcomers alike are invited to State Park Marina for a special event hosted by Diventures Scuba and Swim Centers. A Summer Kick-Off Party is planned for Saturday, June 2, noon to 4 pm at the State Park Marina on Table Rock Lake.
“If you want to kick off your diving season the right way, or are new to scuba, this event is the best way to start your summer,” says Erin White, Manager. “You can enjoy snorkeling on Duck Island, talk to our pros about your diving questions or goals, and save a ton of money with our one-day special promotions.”
Admission is free to this event, and includes a full schedule of fun activities, including:
- Duck Island snorkeling: The boat will leave at noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm, snorkeling gear included. The cost is only $5 per person.
- Raffle for $440 of scuba gear: Get a free raffle ticket at the door with opportunities to earn more tickets at the event, or through purchase – only $1 each, or six for $5.
- One-day money-saving specials: Get special pricing on scuba specialty classes, Master Diver, a Total Dive System, and more. Save as much as $675 on four promotions!
All raffle proceeds go to Dive Pirates Foundation, dedicated to bringing scuba to those with mobility disabilities. A Suunto Zoop Novo wrist computer ($330 value) and an Aqua Lung Defense Dry duffle bag ($110 value) will be raffled off at 4 pm.
