Diventures Scuba and Swim Centers is hosting an Open House and Summer Kick-Off Party on Saturday, April 29th from noon to 5pm at their Springfield, Missouri location.
“This is a great opportunity to thank our customers for their business,” said Alyssa Gumm, Aquatics Director at the Springfield, Missouri location. “Even better that it coincides with the start of summer!”
The open house is geared heavily toward family and kid-friendly aquatic activities, information sessions, and classes. For the duration of the five-hour event, there will be a multitude of kids’ games, outdoor happenings, classes, face painting, and balloons. Kids will also enjoy a visit at noon from water safety expert Josh the Otter.
Upon completion of various learning stations, kids will receive a treasure token that can be redeemed for prizes ranging from small toys to waived registration fee for swim lessons. Adult activities in the pool will also be available throughout the afternoon, including Arthritis Aquatics, Tread.Shed.Build classes, and pregnancy water aerobics.
Attendees will have access to top industry experts who will be onsite and available for free one-on-one consultations on scuba equipment and training, travel and various other aspects of Diventures’ offerings. In addition to Q & A with the experts, participants can try out gear and take advantage of packages that are only available on the day of the open house. Plus, certified divers are invited to participate in an underwater poker tournament.
Barbeque lunch options will be available for purchase during the event, with proceeds going to Dive Pirates, an organization that helps provide scuba experiences for disabled individuals. Diventures is sponsoring Caitlin Moffett as a dive ambassador in this program and will be raffling scuba equipment as a fundraiser for her adventure. Tickets will be available for one ticket for $1 and six for $5, cash and check only.
All Diventures customers – and anyone interested in swim or scuba – are invited and admission is free.
