Cairo and the Nile – sold out
Where we are staying
On this trip, with Frank Wells as our Trip Leader, we’ll spend three nights in Cairo and four nights cruising the Nile. While in Cairo, we are staying at the exquisite Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel and Spa. The five-star hotel boasts views of the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. While in Cairo, we’ll enjoy a full day tour of the pyramids and the Sphinx, and the city of Memphis, including the Sakkara burial grounds. The following day we’ll visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, old Cairo and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The cruise itinerary includes the West Bank of the Nile, the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut temple, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Edfu, the temple of Kom Ombo, and sites in Aswan: the High Dam, the granite quarries and the temple of Philae. The ship includes four decks, a restaurant offering Arabic and international specialties, a lounge and bar, an extensive sun deck, pool with bar, gym, beauty salon, and internet access.
