Diventures Scuba and Swim Centers, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, is celebrating the grand opening of their third location in North Liberty, Iowa on March 4th, 2017.
Located at 555 Highway 965 South, this full-service Diventures location is strategically placed in the growing area of North Liberty, situated between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. “Our dive shop has absolutely everything you need to be a snorkeler or a scuba diver, from a beginner to a technical diver. I encourage those interested to meet other local divers in the community and industry dive experts to attend our grand opening,” says Instructor and Store Manager, JoAnn Haack.
Diventures provides scuba training from entry to professional level and offers a wide range of scuba equipment, gear rental and service. They also have an air compressor onsite, so they can fill and maintain air cylinders.
The Grand Opening celebration of this location will be on Saturday, March 4th from 10am-4pm with attendance from equipment vendors and scuba experts, as well as local radio station 98.1 KAHK. Diventures will be drawing for prizes throughout the day, ranging from a snorkel set and scuba gear to international trips.
The grand prize of the event will be scuba certification and a dive trip for two people to Cozumel, Mexico from May 18th through the 23rd. The prize is valued at $5,750 and includes airfare, accommodations, meals, and travel with the Diventures team. One lucky winner will also win an 8-night scuba trip to the Philippines.
Diventures, known for their community support and outreach efforts, will also be presenting a donation for underwater communication equipment to be used in underwater rescue to the Johnson County Metro Dive team during the event.
The new location includes a 1,000-square foot retail store, classroom space for scuba certification programs, and a full-service travel operation for scuba enthusiasts seeking the best diving experiences around the world.
