Try Scuba is the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of diving, all in the comfort of the pool with our scuba instructors. Just bring your swimsuit and towel, all gear is provided.
Get scuba certified
Your Open Water Diver certification opens the door for exploring the waters in Michigan and far beyond!
Certification starts at $500 and includes your Digital Learning materials and Classroom/Pool sessions. Students also need to purchase their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy & Reel for training.
We have local opportunities to complete your four (4) Open Water Training Dives during the summer season, starting at $200. Or you can complete on a trip in warmer waters!
Refresh your skills
Already a certified diver? If it’s been over a year since you donned your scuba gear, we recommend taking a Scuba Skills Update. Our dive professionals will review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures.

We are located north of Battle Creek Executive Airport and Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, on North Helmer Road. Our shop has served divers from Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, Portage and beyond for more than 40 years.
With a wide range of equipment from today’s leading scuba manufacturers, we have options to fit all budgets. Our team of professionals will help you find the right gear for the type of diving you plan to do. We assist with fit, assembly, and warranty activation, and we offer a price match guarantee.

Great Lakes Diving
The Great Lakes offer over 9,000 miles of sandy shorelines, endless clear blue water, quaint towns, and, luckily for divers, thousands of shipwrecks underwater.
Many ships historically met their demise due to unpredictable weather and poor navigation. Because of the epic storms, heavy fog, hidden shoals, and congested boat traffic, over 6,000 shipwrecks are said to be resting on the bottom of the Great Lakes!
Our summer charters include options for beginner, advanced, and technical divers. We challenge you to jump into the cold water and dive into history with us.
